Escada Joyful arrives as a fruit-forward floral that prioritises immediate brightness over sophistication. The blackcurrant sorbet grounds what could otherwise be an overly saccharine composition, its tart, jammy character providing ballast to the mandarin's zesty top notes. There's a genuine attempt at complexity here—the melon doesn't flatten into generic "fresh fruity" territory but instead offers a slightly waxy, creamy undertone that softens the citrus's sharp edges.
