In better hands, that heart could sing; instead, it gets smothered under tiara-bright florality and sugar icing that tastes, rather than merely smells, saccharine. The vanilla cake base doesn't ground the composition—it amplifies the gourmand tendency into something almost one-dimensional. The woods arrive late, but by then they're fighting a losing battle against what essentially amounts to edible fragrance masquerading as haute couture.
