Pantheon
A unique visual signature based on accords, character, and seasonality
Mango and bergamot create an immediate, juicy brightness, almost gleaming on the skin, whilst saffron's peppery-metallic edge cuts through the sweetness like a blade. The first minutes are hedonistic and tropical, almost enough to make you forget what's coming.
Rose and iris emerge to gently wrestle control away from the fruit, introducing a floral powderiness and green leafiness that stretches the composition in a more elegant direction. The saffron persists underneath, now reading less spicy and more as a subtle aromatics that binds the florals to the tropical opening—a missing link rather than a standalone note.
Oud and nagarmotha transform the base into something earthy and contemplative, whilst amber and vanilla maintain a sophisticated sweetness that no longer reads as fruity but rather as warm skin-scent. White musk diffuses it all into a soft, almost intimate whisper—less fragrance, more the memory of having worn one.
Pantheon's Annone arrives as a calculated collision between tropical abundance and precious resin. Arturetto Landi has crafted something that refuses easy categorisation—it's neither quite fruity nor quite amber, but rather an exploration of how these two territories can meet without surrendering their essential character.
The mango opening is immediately ripe and assertive, its natural sweetness amplified rather than tempered, whilst bergamot provides a sharp citric counterpoint that prevents the composition from becoming cloying. Saffron threads through the top notes with an unexpected spice, a metallic-floral quality that adds sophistication to what could have been a simple tropical fantasy. This is where many fragrances would falter, but Landi uses saffron as a bridge.
