Ivy weaves through with a cool, slightly bitter green note, momentarily overshadowing the sweetness lurking beneath, creating genuine tension in the composition.

By the second hour, rum-soaked warmth emerges, the aniseed transforming into something richer and more ambered, whilst violet powder softens the edges considerably. Orgeat syrup becomes the dominant sweetness now—that peculiar almond-paste character dominates, making the whole affair feel like a formal pastry shop on a humid afternoon rather than a typical fragrance.

The base becomes increasingly amber-focussed, vanilla and tonka blending into soft caramel as cedar provides skeletal support. After four hours, little remains except a warm, slightly powdery sweetness with barely-perceptible woody undertones—the composition has essentially evaporated, leaving only whispers of vanilla and the faintest licorice ghost.
